Observation details
Possibly the bird found by Easterla and Nagel. Female-plumaged bird in mallard marsh area with several thousand other shorebirds. Bird jumped out even in poor light as a very chunky mid-sized shorebird that was slightly larger than the Lesser Yellowlegs around it. Bill was also decurved and not straight like the yellowlegs around it- almost like a Pectoral Sandpiper bill. Due to light no leg color was observed, but odd splotching on breast seen. Poor photos.
