Observation details
Nesting pair. As the female sat on the nest, the male fought with and eventually chased away two Common Ravens that were attacking the male. The male and the two Ravens flew from Ponderosa Pine to Ponderosa Pine, lunging at one another and knocking branches off the pines. At one moment, one Raven hit the Owl in midair as they flew between the trees. The hooting and calling brought the birds to our attention.
