Observation details
Found by another birder who showed us the bird on the west side of the sanctuary high in the trees. Vireo with dark eye line with easily seen pair of black whiskers. Had a Red-eyed Vireo nearby for comparison. Have photos and will attach as proof. Have seen this species before several times (2017 was in Sabine Woods and also viewed at trips to Lafitte’s Cove same year.)
