Observation details
First observation at 0852. 7 counted on property. 4 males, 3 females. Seen on the middle pond within the constructed wetland in reach 2. A male AMWI was apparently with or near them but flushed very quickly as I approached; the teals remained for several minutes longer as I watched them through branches. Heard a few piping 'peep' calls before they flushed together and flew downstream. On the return, flushed 3 GWTE and 1 KILL from the middle constructed wetland pond. Then ca 8 minutes later, 2 more pairs flushed from vegetation at the same pond edge. Got some moderately good photos before they flushed. Detections (number 15-minute intervals in which the species was detected): 4 on property.
