Media notes
An adult male that was seen relatively well as it perched on the same dead twig where I recorded it before (cut #BOL004), now 10-12 meters away and about 10 meters up, at the edge of scrubby terra firme forest in an open area on the south side of the spur road ca. 3/4 km. beyond the logging camp [08° 06’ 32.7” N, 61° 40’ 59.2” W, 278 meters]. I saw this bird relatively well. I could hear a second bird singing nearby, and we regularly encountered these birds at the site, suggesting that it was a regular lek. Equipment Notes: Sennheiser powered using phantom power and with filter in flat position and attenuator off for all recordings. Nagra input set at 2 mV / Pa and low-pass filter in flat position unless noted otherwise.
