Observation details
Originally located by Jackson Willows in Pond 7 of T-section in nearest corner to entrance. All three in narrow scope field regularly across half an hour of observation. The three also foraged close to a small number of Sharp-tailed Sandpipers for clear and prolonged comparison views. Typical LTS feeding behaviour with stretched neck, size difference to STS and finer bill used to differentiate. Birds were occasionally close enough to the road to be seen with the naked eye amongst the grass.
