Observation details

Mudflat at Stop 11. Calidris sandpiper, notably larger than Least Sandpiper. Head, back, wings, rump and upper breast brown in color with sharp demarcation between bright white belly. Base of bill, especially lower mandible olive, lighter in color than rest of bill. Legs bright yellow.
