NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial paired. Gen. Climate: Arid. Cover Density: Medium. Strata: Song perch.) BNA: Song Initially Peaked Vocalization ("Tieur").mf [Ten examples (the last two during announcement) of what appears to represent the Initially Peaked Vocalization of BNA (IPV; see also Smith, W. J. 1970. Song-like displays of Sayornis species. Behaviour 37: 64-84). Most of these calls appear to represent the "high-tailed" form of the IPV but the one at 0:27 is either the "fully humped" form of the IPV or another vocalization not mentioned by either BNA or Smith. Quality changed from 2-3 to 2 (a little busy but not too bad) - CAM - 4 April 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Riparian, Scrub, Canyon, Rocky.
