Yay!!! I was looking at the Dotterels when I saw them, three astonishingly tiny birds beetling about on the waters edge!! The habitat, the plain cinnamon wash, the fact a Dotterel absolutely dwarfed them... Long Toed Stints!!! I was very interested how often they held their necks right out as they fed, and even when at rest; it recalled the Striated Heron, though it was a far more adorable bird to my mind. How fantastic to finally see these little mites c: !!
