Observation details
Rare. Very pale throughout, particularly in the thoat area, unlike Great Crested. Considerably more rufous in spread tail than Dusky-capped (visible in Daniel's attached photo). Petite bill supports AT over BC. Features suggestive of AT over Nutting´s include "sharper" crown, sharp contrast between rufous primary edgings and whitish secondary edgings with no blending and grayer face- all visible in the attached photo and described in the Howell. Heard call that I consider typical of ATFL, but I have no experience with Nutting's. Reviewer comment welcome. -A Hopping
