Observation details
First winter - well photographed and accepted as true. Very large - bigger than a Mallard. Flat headed (like Herring) Dark Eye. Primaries extend just beyond tail. Three little dark spots on the primaries (Nat'l Geo) and JP reported black toenails. Totally white primaries and secondary’s as well as the tail. Bicolored pink based bill, pink legs and feet. White nape with a darker crown giving the appearance of a faded black hooded gull. Dark wash on the side of the face. Primaries and secondary’s white on both surfaces.
