Media notes

Nest: an untidy structure hanging over a pond in the middle of the forest (no bird visible in this picture). We became aware of this nest because of the alarm calls of the flycatcher outside the nest, who could not stop a Chestnut-crowned Foliage-gleaner (!) landing on the nest's outside, poking around inside, grabbing a whitish egg in its beak, and flying off with it. Elevation: 296 m. Date added to IBC: June 21, 2016.
