ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Horornis ruficapilla badiceps to Horornis ruficapilla to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015. This species was heard frequently in the forest, but was not seen (ID confirmed from observations at other sites. The call recorded is apparently a duet. Habitat: Tropical Forest, Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
