a female Thick-billed Green-pigeon (Treron Curvirostra) trapped with a net in Gambut (Peat Swamp) Forest. bird trapping is common in Sumatra, and especially to supply Javan market. In this picture I took one of some 20 birds freshly harvest from net trapping installed in a fig (Ficus crassiramea) tree. Elevation: 0 m. Date added to IBC: June 21, 2016.
