Observation details
2 different birds singing persistently from dense thickets / scrub near group picnic area. "Cheedle-cheedle-cheedle-chee... cheedle-cheedle-cheedle-chew!" This appears to be the "eastern" subspecies, B.v. bellii, because of the extensive yellow on the underparts. I did see both birds, which were similar in appearance. Photos of one bird are attached. This was originally submitted as Bell's Vireo, not assigned to subspecies, but I believe the photos support V.b. bellii, so am submitting as such.
