Media notes

Song with occasional calls from a cooperative bird on territory, present for at least a week before this recording was made. Very rare for this area. Bird was quite mobile, singing several times from one perch and then taking low flight to another low perch, often giving a song (similar to the perched songs) while in flight. All segments natural. Note: Songs from about 5:58 to 7:05 were peaking at about -13db but exhibit a squared-off waveform and sound distorted. These were presumably the result of distortion at the microphone and took place during the bird's closest approach. Other Behaviors: Land, Perch. Equipment Notes: Telinga filter engaged.
