bird struggles to remove red fruit from tree branch. This likely a juvenile coppersmith barbet. This was the first time I have seen a bird struggle and fail to remove the intended fruit pod. Taken at about 8:40 a.m. Elevation: 741 m. Date added to IBC: December 15, 2019.
