A bird in a tree before flying away. Endemic to New Zealand, formerly scattered through most of New Zealand; now confined to N South I, where almost dissapeared. A relocated population now flourishes on Blumine Island in the Marlborough Sounds, with more then 70 birds from a starting population of around 30. Elevation: 247 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
