Observation details
**Rare. Continuing juvenile found on August 13th. Initially sitting on white lighthouse jetty, then flushed by walker to base of red lighthouse but quickly flushed by a passing viking boat. Lost after it circled a couple of times but relocated some time later sitting on water well to north, just south of wooden pilings. Eventually flew north and out of sight as it grew darker. Presumably roosting somewhere to the north, on the lake or elsewhere? Definitely the same bird that has been around, with leucistic white outer primary on the right wing and mostly white primary on the left.
