Observation details
nonbreeding adult. Possibly continuing; two were first found here July 30 by Amy Kearns and Lee Sterrenburg. Until today my views were distant. Today was the first time I was able to see the narrow white border to the gular and the sharp pointed rear of the gular. Small size, slim body and long tail compared to two DCCO perched in the same snag. The bird was perched in MPW5. I viewed from the MPE west levee, just south of the "shorebird hotspot" in MPE3. I was only about 150 meters from the bird.
