Observation details
Two small peeps associated with a Sanderling. Probing the mud near the viewing hut at the east end of the aquaculture ponds. Black legs, streaking on throat, but not on breast. Lighter (greyer) plumage than LESA. There have been sightings and reports of SESA which seem to be this same bird in that it is being reported as a companion to the LESA. I have added fourth photo showing the WESA with one foot raised. Zooming in shows lack of any palmation.
