Loud flight sounds (murmuration) can be heard as the flock takes off at the end of the first and third segments. Sections with wing sounds and minimal vocalizations are: 0:24-0:43 1:48-2:09, continuing then up until 3:00-3:05 when there is a massive flight departure of several hundred birds. 10:44 - massive departure Flights of individuals arriving and departing the New Zealand flax hedgerow commence again at 6:50, but there’s a great deal of vocalizing audible during those flights. There’s another massive departure at 10:44. contains flights of individuals and massive departures.
