Observation details

First reported yesterday by a photographer. First seen today resting with Great Egrets on Mississippi side at upper end of lake. No bands were present on legs and was also observed flying. No other signs of captivity were noticed. Large pink bird with long legs and down curved bill tipped with black. Primary and secondary wing feathers were all black. After watching for over an hour a storm was approaching and flamingo and egrets moved to more sheltered side of lake in Louisiana waters. Photos attached.
