Media notes
Habitat: Mixed forest, conifers dominant. Pinus wallachiana, Abies pindrow, Cedrus deodar, Quercus incana. Recorded toward ravine bottom in area of mixed pine. Could be characterized as open mixed forest with good undergrowth, especially viburnum and ground cover. This individual was 50-75 yards up the ravine from LNS 179421 and 179423. Other Koklass can be heard calling around the ravine slopes, mostly higher up on the slpoes toward the ridge lines. Counter-singing. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
