Very exciting night. Most birds coming from north, passing close overhead over us and the north pond, feeding, and moving south or southwest. One without tail. - One from south at 5:43 e to w; 1 at 5:48 s to nw; 1 feeding s of s pond at 5:50. 16, and another 14 coming from north passing overhead while feeding heading south. 9 at 5:59 n to s; 8 at 6:01 n to s; 2 at 6:06 n to s; 6 at 6:09 n to s; another 14, then 3 n to sw, then 10 feeding n of n pond and moving sw. 10 more about 6:30 n to s; 2 n to w; 2 n to s; 9 more n to s; 4 e to w from 6:38 to 6:40; 5 e to w 6:43; 5 more e to w 6:45; 2 north of north pond at 6:46; and 2 feeding south of south pond heading sw. 4 e to w at 6:48; 11 actively feeding north of north pond and over north pond from 6:50 until end of evening. 2 s to e at 7:07, 1 north to se at 7:07.
