Observation details
Swimming on the pond and viewed well through the scope. Duck like birds with distinctive white flank stripe on each bird. Extensive white under tail. Birds were swimming through a channel between vegetation. Was not able to see the red shield or bill, could have been juveniles that I had the better looks at.
