Observation details
The species was recorded for the first time in Chhattisgarh. It was foraging with two Common redshanks. Legs were submerged completely. Was foraging all the time. It was photographed also. Habitat : Shallow shore with very short grass. Soil is laterite and at the foraging place, effuents from a nearby poultry were being discharged in the water-body.
