Media notes

Very strange apparent subsong, or may represent a subdoed version of what BNA describes as extended song. It does not seem to include any of the usual song notes at the beginning as is described for that vocalization, but the ending part is similar. Extremely soft and quiet, barely audible even though the bird was only a few feet away at times. Often began with some soft call notes or flight notes blending into a soft, jumbled, buzzy song, almost reminiscent of a tiny Gray-cheeked Thrush. Other Behaviors: Subsong.
