Observation details
I thought this was a Golden at the time. Identification based on dihedral to wings, but not a Turkey Vulture (broader wings without the lighter colored primaries). Huge bird. Tail looked a bit wedge-shaped, vaguely raven-like. Couldn't make any details out on plumage, aside from it just looked all dark. Dihedral seemed far too pronounced for Bald, but very early for Golden and these iPhone photos aren't particularly convincing.
