Observation details

Continuing at dam from about 7:40 to 8:05am. Was flying up and down dam shortly after sunrise. Then landed for a while before taking off after some terns. Back again at 8:20, robbing a FOTE of its catch, then resting on the water near the dam. Continued to move around the lake. Smallish Jaeger with small hooked bill. Clean black cap with slight yellow wash to neck and nape. Gray mantle and dark wings. Very long central tail feather. Handsome bird!
