Habitat: Freshwater marsh; dominated by tule (reedbeds) and cattails Weather: Clear Recordist's Note: "The "begging-like" call in the first cut is almost surely a Virginia Rail chick & the single-noted (tinkling-like) series in second cut may be the adult female. Refer to LNS 172437 where chicks were giving this call, so perhaps all calls were of chicks." LNS: 125 Hz AUHipass filter applied in soundBlade to the second segment only.
