Observation details
Single bird at Rich Stallcup Platform w/ Godwits and Willets, and occasionally a Least or Western. Watched it for an hour. Foraged only on the mudflat, mostly picking from the green top layers. Wingtips past the tail and crossed at the end. Quite squished-looking, broad head-on, with a buffy breast delineated from bright white underparts. Tidy, scaled back and crisp feathers seem to indicate a juvenile. Still there as of 4:30, tide is rising.
