C.T797. Crimson-breasted Shrike Franklin Park on 24/2/11 at 09h00. Recording starts with the Bush Shrike giving its 'kong-koit' call with Sombre Greenbuls in the background. 0.16 Dark-capped Bulbul. 0.19 Green-backed Camaroptera in back. 0.23 Greenbul and Bulbul at 0.27 immediately after Bush Shrike call. 0.36 Bulbuls giving alarm call. 0.46 Camaroptera. The bulbul, Greenbul and Camaroptera call regularly through the recording between each Bush Shrike call. 1.17 Yellow-breasted Apalis in back. 1.24 Brown-crowned Tchagra. 1.40 Camaroptera becomes louder. 3.12 Dark-capped Bulbul. It repeats several times. 3.38 A flock pof European Bee-eaters flies overhead (faint). Equipment used a Sound Devices 722 and the microphones an MS system with two Sennheiser MKH 30 & 40 microphones.
