The pigeons are perched or walking on top of the aviary. One of the birds begins chasing after another bird and displaying its chest feathers. The second bird moves away from it and it drops to a lower ledge and begins chasing a third bird exhibiting the same behavior. The parakeets fly laterally across the microphone behind the aviary approx. 30 ft. from the ground In this recording, there are 2 birds on the outside of the aviary and 8 birds on the inside. There is also a single bird on the stand used for the feeding station halfway between the microphone and the aviary. It is unclear which bird is vocalizing.
