Note: The color band markings of the Zosterops chloronothos are: Pink over Pink=Adult Female, Dark Blue over Yellow=adult male, Light Blue over Orange=hatched 12/13/09 (suspected female), Black over Red=hatched 11/13/09 (suspected male), White over Pink=Adult Male, White over Orange=Ault Female. Third segment: The first individual is approx. .9 m from the microphone, it flies toward the field-station's kitchen, flies back to the same branch, and then flies around the corner of the field station out of sight. The second individual is unseen through the recording but can be heard at approx. 24 seconds into recording as the first bird flies around corner of the field station. Fifth segment: The Zosterops chloronothos is perched on the edge of the gutter. A single Foudia rubra flies within a few feet of it on the roof. They both appear agitated and there is some interaction between the two birds; the Zosterops chloronothos flying towards and away from the Foudia rubra in quick, successive bursts. Both birds fly above the gutter out of sight and continue making their calls unseen. Sixth segment: Two individuals in a small sized tree between feeding station #4 & feeding station #2. At approx. :57, both birds begin preening themselves. LNS: Recording is from 624-712.
