Observation details

Two males and a female and an unknown doing a moderately distant ACK ACK ACK call. Male was seen flying into cattails and a female coming out. A recording of its vocalization is included. Presumed on nest. Female 1 stayed mostly in the cattails every once and a while giving a resounding ACK ACK ACK call to which the male would answer with one Cough. She started giving the pre-flight Chak (recorded) call then boom she was in the air chasing an interloping female. Female 3. The interloper. Pic included.
