Observation details

A total of 30 to 50 vultures were observed on the constructed water hole among the recorded individuals, White-rumped Vultures Gyps bengalensis, Indian Vultures Gyps indicus and Red-headed Vultures Sarcogyps calvus were observed and a fully dark black vulture was observed on circling around the water hole and suddenly it disappear form that place. We checked the camera trap for the recorded individuals data shows that the huge dark-bodied bird uniformly dark blackish plumages, paler on the head running down the neck, dark irises and a blue-greyish cere confirmed it as a juvenile Cinereous Vulture
