Observation details
Large stocky flycatcher with massive bill, face dark to below eye with white below down through throat, light yellow belly.Tail shorter than Myiarchus flycatchers. Brownish back. Video taken with bird calling; matched call to Xeno-canto recording in Sonora. Calling occasionally with apparent territorial dispute with a calling Gray Flycatcher. Near beginning of trail.
