Media notes
Neotropical Institute Cut # S-11. NOTES: THE PRINCIPAL BIRDS HERE MAY BE THE PAIR OF NEST NO. 2-56. THERE APPEARS TO BE A SONG DUEL BETWEEN THIS MALE WHO IS A 'TEA FOR TWO' SINGER AND THE MALE ACROSS THE ROAD NO. 1-57; THE FEMALE RESPONDS TO HER MATE'S SONG AND ACTUALLY THE PARABOLA IS FOCUSED ON HER. IN THE LATTER PART OF THIS RECORDING THE PARABOLA IS FOCUSED ON THE MALE. ML: Background subject changed from Saltator albicollis to S. striatipectus to reflect current taxonomy. -Jay McGowan 1Oct2013. Other Behaviors: Counter Singing.
