Observation details
County lifer! Seen along the main road, about halfway up. Very agitated and tried to attack passing cars. Kept following me as I backed up to photograph it. Concerned that it may get hit by a vehicle, I "led" it down a side road. When it appeared to forget that I was there, I slipped away and made it back to my car without being pursued. A unique experience! (Later observations posted indicate that the bird must have made its way back to the road after I left. Sigh, I tried!)
