I was recording these shelducks at water's edge looking down from a path through a wooded area along the edge of the estuary just north of the mouth of Pill Creek. Birds were probably 25 meters to 15 meters away. Due to the cover provided by the woods these shelducks were unaware of my presence, or at least undisturbed by it. The vocalizations appear not to have been stimulated by my presence. Habitat: Estuary.
