Observation details
Huge tern, flew in with Franklin's Gulls. Wing beats very slow, almost comically compared to the gulls. Black cap and heavy, red bill with dark tip. Short tailed with a deep notch. Circled around the eastern shore, then flew directly overhead towards the west. Did not see again.
