Observation details
I spotted a brown, approximately thrush-sized bird with a very long, thinly white-edged tail moving in a bush near the hanging park bench and realized it was a cuckoo! After disappearing for a minute or two, the cuckoo spent quite a while sitting in the middle of a dense bush, allowing good views of the head and curved, black bill with rich yellow lower mandible. After a while, the cuckoo disappeared and reappeared again, this time moving around a bit more in the open, allowing more decent views of the body and tail (showing a blackish undertail with large white spots), and then allowed great views perching on a rather exposed branch. The cuckoo then moved around some more before disappearing for the last time.
