Media notes

Recorded during the 2006 Cornell Ivory-billed Woodpecker search in Arkansas. Single call in first segment was given by unseen bird in response to an IBWO playback drill; from my position it sounded similar to the "kent" call of IBWO. The bird was closer to the volunteer doing the playback, who later confirmed that a Blue Jay vocalized during the drill between their position and mine. Kent-like calls in the second segment were apparently from Blue Jays that only sounded kent-like from a great distance. I marked "Playback Not Used" although the first jay may have been responding to the IBWO tape.
