Adult male singing from a cottonwood tree.

Observation details

Male. Singing. Very difficult to locate. Jay got a brief look. Bird was black above with some white in the wings and brilliant "cheeto" orange below on the throat and upper breast. Unmistakable. We all heard it singing repeatedly. In a large cottonwood near the very north part of the trail by the ACU disk golf course. We heard this bird first thing in the morning. Located it again on our way back.
