Observation details
Large blackish corvid with long, tapering wings with distinct bend in wrist, long hand. Tail long, missing a rectrix or two on one side, with the other side appearing mostly/totally complete and with a rounded taper rather than a wedge shape vs Common Raven. Photos show larger bill than crow, nasal feather appears to cover well more than half of bill. In size, the bird when first seen seemed comparable in size to (although larger than) crow, but not overtly massive. Voice not heard. At one point mixed and soared with Laughing Gulls. Size was in same basic ballpark as the gulls, although this bird was clearly bulkier. My photos are not as good as DP's. Images and report will be submitted to LBRC.
