Observation details
Extremely well camouflaged birds. A head smaller than adjacent Crowned Lapwings with a rufous crown. Below the reufous crown a black stripe extends from behind the head through the eye. Bill is mediyum length and down curved. Pale vent that is interrupted by a thin black sploth that extend from the lower belly to lower chest into a roufous-brown mid-chest with a buffy upper chest.
