Observation details

Singles; 1 grappled with a large caterpillar for a minute, whacking it against a branch numerous times (while my camera focused on a branch rather than on the bird ...). Now that my camera (sans cheap UV filter) is taking in-focus photographs, I need to learn how to set the "Intelligent Auto" setting to focus on a pinpoint in the center of the screen, rather than 1 or more of the 49 (!) individual focusing areas on the screen.
