Observation details
I saw it getting mobbed by Drongos (which were imitating the green magpie call as they often do) and laughingthrushes (including bare-headed). It was in the forest uphill from the top of silau silau trail. I was very lucky to be able to snap even this mediocre photo as it was moving fast and not perching for long. This is a historic spot for this species as its been seen there rarely since at least 2012. A few years ago it was seen there with fledglings. Last year I only saw it once despite being in that area almost every single day for 4 months.
