Observation details
Heard distantly at first, in SW corner, then heard again as I got closer. When I walked through the stand of trees towards the ball field fence, the pheasant and I spotted each other at the same time, and he slowly began to tiptoe away from me along the fence. I slowly followed him and got some photos.
